Hey there! Wanting to update everyone :) I have been so, so busy & need to get back on here, but I just cant seem to find the time :( ah, well. soon....
Quick recap: busy, busy, busy!
1. Still trying to sell this house! We have been swamped with showings, I guess that's a good thing :) Have someone who is very interested, but they are still thinking on it. Things are looking up! I think :P
2. Just got back from a couple of days in Cincinnati working as extras for the film, Polycarp, Destroyer of Gods. It was a blast! Did pick-ups which was new for me. Last summer we were on set (Michaela, Anna & I) put on our Biblical garb, dirtied up & used as extras & just relived it this past week. This is the second set we have been on, so much fun! Be sure to see, Beyond the Mask when it comes out; another project we were blessed to be extras in. Not looking for fame to be sure :P hehe... um.... just having fun! Good to be on set with friends & making new, that's all it is to us. However, we have had an opportunity that most are never able to be a part of, for this we are thankful.
3. The Lord is setting up a busy year for us; looking forward to all of the fun in store. Michaela will be in her good friends wedding & is extremely excited to be a first time bridesmaid. Both Michaela & Anna have open doors that they are praying about & ready to go full force through those open doors.
4. Looks like our cousin from France will be doing some sort of scholarship in NY & he will be visiting. This is fabulous! Because I was born in Italy, our daughters have had the opportunity to experience the Italian culture through visits from family members from Italy & now France. This is beyond exciting!
So much more, but a quick recap. Just want to let everyone know that I am alive & well :) Ill be back as quickly as I can :) I think. :P

ReplyDeletePatrizia! First of all, I wanted to say that I am so glad things are going well for you, but I do miss your updates. :-) All of the thoughts and articles you post are always so encouraging!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, though, I wanted to tell you that I just ran across a comment that you left me waaaaay back in July of last year ... in it you said "Hang tight, put your hands on the plow and never look back." I wanted you to know that I have never needed that message more than I needed it today, and I reread your words at exactly the right time. Thank you SO much for your encouragement all those months ago - it was helpful at the time, but so much more than helpful today. It's amazing how God uses our words in ways we could never foresee. Thank you so much!!
I hope things are still going well for you and your family! I follow Michaela and Anna's blogs when they update, and I can tell that you have been super busy. Take care, and enjoy your summer!
Love in Christ,
Vicki
